2025 Conference FAQ
Q – Where is the conference located?
A – The location of the conference is the Westin Calgary at the following address:

Q – When is the conference?
A – The conference dates are May 23 – 25, 2025.
Q – When does conference registration open?
A – Conference general registration opened on February 14, 2025.
CAFCN members received one-week early access to registration on February 7, 2025.
Q – Is there a shuttle from the airport to the hotel?
A – There is no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa The approximate costs for a taxi from the airport to the hotel would range between $40.00 – $45.00.
Q – Will there be discount parking at the hotel?
A – Discount Parking will be available at $15–the garage code will be posted a week before the conference
Q – Where can I find the link for the hotel rates?

- Please book by April 30, 2025 to secure the special rate of $189 per night
- The dates available are from May 18 – 28, 2025. 3 days before and after the conference are based on availability
- You can also call 1-888-627-8417 and identify yourself to book into the “Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses CAFCN Annual Conference”
Q – Will the conference and AMM be offered virtually?
A – The conference (Saturday & Sunday) as well as the AMM on Friday will be offered both in-person and virtually to all attendees:
- The AMM will be offered virtually exclusively to CAFCN members as the AMM is for members only
- Links to the virtual conference and AMM will be sent out via email to individuals 1-2 weeks before the event
Q – Will the Friday workshops be offered virtually?
A – The Friday workshops are only in-person.
Q – Can I register only for Friday workshops?
A – You must be registered for one or both days of the conference to be eligible to register for a Friday workshop.
- If you are registering for multiple workshops, please make sure the schedule is not conflicting

You could request to transfer workshops later on, but it is highly recommended to finalize your decisions upon initial registration as seats fill up rather quickly for certain workshops
Q – The Friday workshop(s) I want to register for is/are full. Can I be put on a waitlist?
A – Please email [email protected] to request being added to the waitlist for your desired workshop(s).
Q – Where do I find my CAFCN Membership Code?
A – You can find CAFCN Membership Code in the Members Portal under Member Account > Card.
- For members with full or student membership, the code is the same as your Canadian Nursing Registration Number as it appears on your Membership Card; this information is now a requirement when joining/renewing with CAFCN
- Please ensure your CAFCN account is up-to-date and that this field is completed in order to be eligible for the discount rate
- For Associate members, your code is unique and provided by CAFCN
Q – Can I register multiple people at once?
A – This year, we are using the CAFCN Membership Code as the promo code to apply the discounted member rate when registering. Since each code is unique to each member, only one person can register at a time.
Q – Where do I find the conference agenda?
A – The conference agenda can be found by clicking here.
Q – Will the May conference presentations be recorded and available virtually after the conference?
A – All conference attendees (both in-person and virtual) will have access to the recordings of the Saturday and Sunday presentations for four weeks after the conference, based on their ticket type.
Q – How much do I save when I register for the conference as a CAFCN member?
A – CAFCN members save 28% from a single conference ticket using their CAFCN Membership Code in the Promo Code field.
